My New Friends
Josh and I went to UFC 102 when it came here to Portland. Through some crazy circumstances I ended up meeting up with a few people that I met through the deaf community. After the fights we hung out and chatted and got to know each other. They were all great and fun. Here are some pics....I also got to meet Ryan Baden and Dan Henderson!!! (For all of you non-UFC fans they are both fighters.)
Deaf Nation Expo
This year I went to my first Deaf Nation Expo here in Portland. It pretty much is a fair/Saturday Market for the deaf community. I went with David, Judy, and Larry. I was excited to go. I was planning on meeting up with a friend that I met at UFC 102. It was great meeting other people from the deaf community that is here locally. I got to meet up with my friend Nathan and went out to dinner with him and Matt Hamill. He was really nice and down to earth. Here are some pics I took.

Youth Camp/Birthday
We made it. I had 10th grade girls. The camp theme was "The Armor of God". Thursday night Gary preached a slam dunk sermon. I don't have very many pics, Matty took some on his camera though. My husband bought me a book, a Coach wristlet purse and he picked out a perfume that reminded him of me. It was all very thoughtful. Mom and dad and Nana and Papa Abby all got me money. Matty and Mandy got me a gift card to B&N (ayayaya). So thats all I got right now....

New Paint
So this whole week, my parents have been down working on "projects". My dad stacked my washer/dryer which gave me room for a real pantry. My mom painted Lola's bedroom, Cash's bedroom, the Master Bedroom, and both upstairs bathrooms. My dad worked in the yard and planted new plants. Gotta love a guy who knows how to hang pictures properly!
